The application is built as an independent, versioned Angular library integrated into the corporate design system. This allows common components and services to be reused across all intranet modules, ensuring a consistent user experience and faster release cycles. API clients are automatically generated from OpenAPI specifications, keeping the front end and microservices seamlessly aligned.

A key feature of the solution is its multi-view flexibility over the same underlying data: filterable lists, Kanban boards, Gantt charts, and executive dashboards—enabling every role, from individual contributors to project managers, to work in the most effective mode. This is complemented by real-time notifications via SignalR, a commenting system with user mentions, attachment and document link management, Excel data export, and a full audit trail tracking changes to projects and tasks.

The platform also integrates with Outlook Calendar to synchronize deadlines and connects with corporate resource-planning services to automatically flag unavailability and absences during task assignment. Access control is managed via OpenID Connect authentication with role- and project-level permissions, while a multilingual, responsive interface ensures seamless mobile usability.
